yes, the flash fired. we were asked to use the camera presets on this exercise. took a class this summer in UPFI.

We did this exercise on a cloudy afternoon, It was kind of gray that day, and the macro preset had its flash on and we weren't supposed to change anything on the preset. And just check the picture details, the time I took the photo's there.

In the outdoors, the flash can actually make the photo look better. It's just very tricky and is a case-to-case basis.

In my old camera, I didn't use flash since it would eat up my battery very quickly (AA batteries); in my new camera, it doesn't have a flash :XD:
